Esther Brown, 92, lifelong area resident, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born July 2, 1926 to Fred and Mary (Frick) Reiber in Fort Morgan.

Esther married Orthy Brown on November 28, 1953 in Derby, Colorado. He died in 2007.

Esther was a member of the Red Hats, and enjoyed playing cards, especially solitare, bingo and most board games.

Survivors include her children, Jerry Binger (Pat) of Fort Morgan, Joann Hammonds of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jacqueline Edkins (Terry) of Cody, Wyoming, Sharon Goodale (Glenn) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mary Martin (Rocky) of Brush, and Donna Ferguson (Tim) of Brush; grandchildren, Rhonda, David, Jerry II, Renee, Stacey, Theresa, Laycee, Matthew, Michael, Amanda, John, and Eddie; 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Esther was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Binger, husband Orthy Brown, daughter, Judy White, grandson Darrin Boston, infant great grandson, Caleb Danley, 1 sister, 1 brother, and her parents.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at the All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben-Ezer in Brush. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan.
