Esther Lisle, 97, lifelong area resident, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush.
Esther was born March 1, 1919 in Fort Morgan to Henry and Lydia Kembell.
She married Robert Schott on May 9, 1937, he died in 1982. On January 5, 1985 she married Clarence Lisle at the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church in Orchard where she was a member. He died in 2007.
She was also a member of the Morgan County Cattlewomen and AARP at the Senior Center in Fort Morgan.
Esther enjoyed fishing and she loved to dance. She was still dancing at age 96.
Her family was very important to her. She especially loved their family picnics and get togethers.
Esther is survived by three children, Barbara Bauer (Don) of Fort Morgan, Jerry Schott (Becky) of Longmont, and Kenny Schott (Lynne) of Loveland, three sisters, Mary Bostrom of Brush, Helen Ball (Al) of Denver, and Lydia Schleining of Thornton, sister-law, Mary Kembell, brother-in-law, Jake Heinrich, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Esther was preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert Schott and Clarence Lisle, two daughters, Beverly Troudt and Thelma Guffey, two great-great grandsons, Austin Bauer and Tyler Rogers, sisters, Olga Hutt, Katherine Shank, Edith Klein, Martha Heinrich, and Hannah Johnson, one brother, Edward Kembell and her parents.
Memorial Services will be Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 am at the United Presbyterian Church in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Memory Gardens.
Memorial Gifts may be made to the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church in Orchard.
