Esther Sisneros, 89, of Brush and Aurora Colorado, transitioned on November 18, 2021, at St. Joseph's hospital in Denver, Colorado, due to Covid related complications.

She was born on Saturday, May 28th, 1932, in Ft. Morgan Colorado to Tony and Maria Baltazar. She was proceeded in death by brothers, Louis Baltazar, Nicholas Baltazar, Emilio Baltazar, and sister Julia Dominguez. She is survived by her sisters, Jessie Acosta, and Angie (Mickey) Rodriguez.

Esther was married to her high school sweetheart, Martin D Sisneros. After the first kiss in downtown Ft. Morgan, many dances (she loved to jitterbug as a young gal), and dates, along with her sister Angie and  future brother-in-law Joe Rodriguez, she was married to Martin on August 8th, 1953. Martin passed five years prior to Esther. They had and loved six children; Martin D Jr., Richard Donald Sisneros, and Donna Lee Marquez-Shelady, (all of who proceeded her in death) and Diana Lynn Sisneros, Rodney Alan Sisneros, and Steven Glenn Sisneros. A grandmother to fifteen grandchildren and a great-grandmother, "GG", to sixteen, she also had numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and godchildren.

A woman of diverse skills, tenacity, and drive, Esther was the following: A master seamstress, a skill learned from working at Samsonite, making clothes for her kids to wear to school and other sewing jobs. She was well known for her wedding dress modifications, doll clothes, and Barbie outfits. She was a teacher for ten years at the Aurora Senior Center where she taught Spanish as a second language, she loved her students and really enjoyed this part of her life.  Esther was a businesswoman. Her Martin, Joe, and Angie opened the first Mexican Cantina "San Martin", in Aurora, on Colfax in the 1970s. Many joyful stories were told of this short era. Esther was also fiercely competitive and loved playing games, most recently, she loved Phase Ten surrounded by her family at the kitchen table.

Once retired, she moved with her husband Martin to Brush, from Aurora Colorado where they enjoyed several hobbies and activities, "going up the hill", traveling, and hosting annual Fourth of July gatherings at their home with her family and friends.

Due to unexpected illnesses in the family, services were postponed.

A celebration of life will be held at  the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Friday, February 11th at 10:30AM. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan where she will join her beloved husband, Martin.
