Ethel Mae Cobb Day (78) was born June 10, 1930 to Robert Clyde and Ethel Kenney Cobb, in the town of Gloster in the state of Mississippi. Ethel went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, August 30th at 8 PM. She went home very peaceful at her residence Valley View Villa. She leaves behind in grief her husband; Richard, her daughter; Jenny and her husband Jonathan Perez, who was Ethel's caregiver, her sons; George Day of Hawaii and Dennis Day of Virginia, three brothers; James with wife Karen of Houma, Louisiana, Jerry with wife Carol Ann of Gibson, Louisiana and Donnie with wife Kathy from Bismarck, Arkansas, five grandchildren; Ricky Perez, Jason Day, Micah Day, Courtney Day and Heather Day. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, four brothers; George Roberts, James Roberts, Robert C. Cobb Jr. Charles Lee Cobb and one sister; Pauline Cowen. Ethel was a member of the Life Fellowship Church in Ft. Morgan. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the Heer Mortuaries Chapel in Ft. Morgan. The service will conclude at the chapel.
