Obituary

Eudelia Villarreal, 83, former Wiggins area resident, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the St. Anthony's Hospital in Lakewood. She was born May 20, 1929, in Zapata, TX, to Lorenzo & Maria Coronado. Eudelia married Olegario Villarreal on March 4, 1945, in Robstown, TX. The Villarreal family moved to the Wiggins community in 1960. Eudelia attended the Catholic Church most of her life. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, being outdoors where she enjoyed fishing and family picnics, and taking care of animals. She was known for the tortillas that she made. Survivors include her children, Olivia Gonzalez of Arizona, Udelia Martinez, Marcela Villarreal, and James Villarreal all of Denver, Leandro Villarreal of Las Vegas, NV, and Lorenzo Villarreal of CA; 1 brother, Roman Coronado of TX, and 2 sister, Elida Valles of Houston, TX, and Bertha Ramirez of San Antonio, TX; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great – great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olegario; 1 granddaughter, 2 brothers, Pedro and Baldomero, and her parents. A rosary will be recited at Saint Helena Catholic Church on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan.
