EVA JEAN FOOS, 64, died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at her home in Erie from complications from cancer. She was born June 27, 1945 in Silt, CO to Albert Leroy & Thelma Unamae (Best) Draper. She married Richard E. Foos, formerly of Fort Morgan, on November 9, 1967 in Longmont. She graduated from from Silt Union High School in 1963 and she had various places of employment after that until she went to work for a Longmont based medical supply manufacture for over 20 years until they closed their doors. After that she held several jobs in order to maintain the acreage she and her husband owned in Erie. Mrs. Foos enjoyed taking care of various animals such as goats, rabbits, chickens and ducks. She enjoyed flea markets, antiques, and especially vanilla shakes. Survivors include her husband, Richard Foos of Erie; her brother, Donald Leroy Draper of Sutterland, NE; three sisters, Billie Yvonne Smuin of Vernal, UT, Leona Ruth Stokes of Tucson, AZ, and Sharon Kay Harris of Carbondale, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 5th at 1:00 PM in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
