Evelene Darlene Meininger ,91, of Greeley passed away Friday, December 2, 2022. She was born January 8, 1931 in Loveland, CO.

Evelene moved to Fort Morgan with her family in her early childhood and graduated from Fort Morgan High School. After school she started working at Farmers State Bank working her way up through 40 years of employment there to Customer Service Officer. She took an early retirement to enjoy life. She was a long-time member of First Christian Church in Fort Morgan. Her favorite things to do were to work outside in the yard, listen to Christmas music year-round, and watch the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rockies.

Evelene was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Meininger, father, Oral Chilcote, mother, Lethal Ficken, brother, Dan Chilcote, sister, Esther Dietz.

She is survived by her sister, Eva Jones Westhoff, daughter, Ginger Meininger, son, Mike Meininger, son, Mitch Meininger and grandson, Jake Kingston.

Evelene chose to be cremated and there will be no services held, at her request.
