EVELYN JEANETTE JONES, 71, former Brush resident, died Monday afternoon, October 8, 2007 at her home in Ramona, CA. She was born in Brush on June 16, 1936 to John & Clara (Lee) Blum. She married Charles Jones on May 13, 1967. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband Charlie Jones of Ramona, CA; one daughter and one son; Pamela Mertes and Matt Geyer, both of Eckert, CO; one step-daughter, Sylvia Stanley of Ramona, CA; one step-son, Faron Jones of Arapahoe, OK; six grandchildren, Travis Gordon, Justin Gordon, Terry E. Horsch Jr., Tanya S. Horsch, Morgan D. Stanley, and Lauren Jones; and one great granddaughter, Serenity Rae Doti. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-son Jesse Jones; and two brothers, Donald Eugene Blum and Richard Blum. Services will be Monday, October 15, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel, 222 Cameron Street, Brush, CO. Interment will follow in Brush Memorial Cemetery. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory in Brush is in charge of arrangements.
