Obituary

Evelyn "Bo" Norgren, 100, of Fort Morgan, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, February 15, 2016. She was born October 6, 1915 in Brush, CO to John and Ane Hansen.

Evelyn attended Brush schools, graduating from Brush High School in 1933. On August 30, 1936 she married John Cecil Norgren in Brush. In 1943 Evelyn and Cecil moved to Denver with their family until she returned to Fort Morgan to be near family in 1993. Over the last twenty years in Morgan County, Evelyn was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Lutheran Church of our Redeemer. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and cross stitching. She loved being outdoors camping, fishing and traveling, especially to Blackhawk, CO with her daughter Diane and to Hawaii with her daughter Karen. She spent the last five years at the Beehive Assisted Living in Fort Morgan, a place she considered to be her home. Her family was the most important part of her life.

Survivors include her two daughters, Karen (late husband Don) Christensen and Diane (Richard) Pusch both of Weldona; one son Kent (Vicki) Norgren of Greenville, OH; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Cecil and her parents.

A memorial service will be Friday, February 26 th at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 1100 W. Platte, in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church.
