Evelyn "Evie" J. Oster, 73, of Wiggins, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.  She was born June 19, 1943, in Limon, CO, to Clifford & Amelia Deeds.

Evie graduated from Genoa High School.  On June 15, 1962, she married Delbert Henry and they had 4 children.  Evie had a day care business in her home for several years.  She later worked as a waitress in several Morgan County restaurants for over 30 years.

There were no strangers in Evie's life – just people she hadn't met yet.  She was a very kind, caring and passionate person.  She loved the Lord, her Savior.  She married the love of her life, Al Oster on June 5, 1991.  He passed away February 13, 2017.  Evie loved her husband, Al, her children and grandchildren and was very proud of all of them.

Survivors include her children, Bonnie (Mike) Schreiner, Tammy (Jonathon) Hillyer and Rick Henry all of Brush; Dan Henry (Diana Dones) of Fort Morgan; her inherited children, JanAl Thomas  of Roy, UT, Jodean (Mark) Burrup of South Jordan, UT, and Scott Oster of Wiggins; her sister, Joyce Storey (Leo Hilton) of Weldona; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Al; her infant brother; infant sister, Elaine Deeds; daughter-in-law, Rene Henry, 4 great granddaughters, and her parents.

Funeral services will be Monday,  April 3, at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Assembly of God, 1012 Eaton Street in Brush.  Interment will be in the Glen Cemetery south of Lindon, CO Monday afternoon.  Visitation will be at the Calvary Assembly on Monday at 9:00 AM.  The Heer Mortuaries & Crematory are entrusted with the funeral arrangements.  Family prefers memorial gifts to the St. Jude's Pulmonary Research Center or to the American Cancer Society.
