Everett R. Patzkowsky, 86, longtime area resident, died December 14, 2013 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Everett was born on June 10, 1927 in Loveland to John J. & Anna Patzkowsky. He married Verna Hinton March 7, 1948 in Fort Morgan. Everett was a member of United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and was an avid reader. He volunteered for Meet & Eat and was also a member of the American Legion and VFW. Everett is survived by his wife, Verna of Fort Morgan; his granddaughter, Laura McCracken and husband, Brian of Fort Morgan; three great grandchildren, Spencer McCracken and wife, Kendra of LaSalle, Tyler McCracken of Fort Morgan, Abby Keefe and husband, Taylor also of Fort Morgan and two great-great grandchildren, Ryleigh McCracken and Brodie Kallweit. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Brenda Kitchings, two sisters, Arvilla Patzkowsky and Ruth Patzkowsky, four brothers, John Patzkowsky, Al Patzkowsky, Floyd Patzkowsky and Weldon Patzkoswky. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts in Everett's name C/O Heer Mortuary.
