Fannie F. Lapp, 96, a Fort Morgan resident for over 60 years, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Colorado Plains Medical Center. She was born in Palisade, NE, to Bill & Grace LeValley. On April 29, 1935, Fannie married Fred Lapp in Greeley, CO. Before eye sight complications, Fannie enjoyed doing different types of hand work, including ceramics, crocheting, and sewing. She loved being with her family and especially enjoyed holding babies. Survivors include 1 son Donald of Sugar City, CO; 1 sister Ruth Kaaland of Sedro Wooley, WA; 1 brother, Art LeValley of Santa Barbara, CA; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; 1 son, Arthur; 2 brothers, Virgil LeValley and John LeValley; 2 sisters Effie Hallberg and Frieda Faulds; and her parents. Funeral services will be Friday, June 29, 2012, at 1:30 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the Heer & Dahl Chapel on Thursday from 3 – 5 PM.
