Felix J. DeHerrera, 85, longtime Brush area resident, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush.  He was born February 20, 1935, in Greeley, CO to Joe & Lucy DeHerrera.

Felix moved to Brush in 1949.  Prior to retirement he worked in highway construction, helping to build bridges.  He enjoyed working with wood.

Survivors include his son Frank DeHerrera of Brush; 1 brother, David DeHerrera of Phoenix, AZ; and 2 grandsons, Kyle & TJ.  He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Rudy & Richard; and 8 brothers & sisters.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Brush Memorial Cemetery Interment Chapel (gazebo).  Inurnment will follow service in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.  Social distancing will be required.  If you prefer to be seated please bring your own chair.  Family requests casual dress for those attending service.
