Fern Lucille Myers, 82, of Fort Morgan, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan.

Fern was born on November 21, 1935 in Fort Morgan to Estel & Erma Reed. She married Jewel Myers on September 17, 1954

Fern was Postmaster at the Weldona Post Office from September 11, 1999 until April 20, 2011. She won the American Business Women's Business Associate award in 2000. She enjoyed roses, horses, and reading her bible. She had even traveled with an evangelist group when she was younger.

Survivors include her grandson, Jewel (Stephanie) Eskew; and her son in-law, Raymond Eskew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jewel Myers; daughter, Charlotte Ann Myers Eskew; and her brother, Robert Reed.

A Funeral Service will be at Wiggins Community Church, 423 Dickson St. in Wiggins on Monday, November 19 ^th . Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 9:30AM. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
