Florence R. Case, 81, longtime Brush resident, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born November 25, 1933, in Harlan County, NE, to Francis & Mary Margaret Delimont. Florence attended school in Orlens, NE. On August 2, 1950, Florence married Ivan Case in Phillpsburg, NE. After moving to Brush, Florence worked in the dietary department at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center for many years. Florence enjoyed knitting, sewing, making quilts and doilies, gardening and canning the produce from her garden. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Ivan of Brush; 6 children, David Case of Greeley, CO, Diane Vandersnick of Montana, Duane Case of Kansas, Dennis Case of Arizona, Daniel Case of Brush, and Donny Case of Denver; 2 sisters, Frances Dunlay and Mary Ann Lehmer, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother Robert Delimont and her parents. A memorial service will be held at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Thursday November 12, 2015 at 11:00 am. The service will conclude at the Mortuary.
