Obituary

Floyd R. Plowman, 74, of Caldwell, ID passed away unexpectedly in an automobile accident on October 1, 2016. Floyd was born August 8, 1942 to Cecil and Maxine (Duboise) Plowman in Greeley, CO.

Floyd married Kathy Schumacher on August 8, 1963 in Fort Morgan. They were married for 35 years before she passed away in 1999.  Floyd dedicated his life to being a welder and taking care of livestock.  He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his significant other Karen Plowman of Caldwell, ID; four children, Terri (Troy) Korf of Fort Morgan, Monica Plowman of Wichita, KS, Gerri (Butch) Armstrong of Waialua, HI, and Dan (Kristen) Custer of Caldwell, ID; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Floyd was preceded in death by his wife Kathy and his parents.

A funeral service will be Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow immediately at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
