Obituary

Floyd Edward Weber, 80, Life long Ft. Morgan area resident, died Saturday evening at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born March 3, 1930 in Ft. Morgan to Henry and Mary Weber. He married Joanne Zwetzig November 13, 1955 at the Christ Congregational Church in Ft. Morgan. Ed was a life time member of the Christ Congregational Church, and a member of the BPOE # 1143. He farmed and fed cattle for over 50 years. He enjoyed watching the Colorado Rockies baseball games and attending every one of his grandchildren's sporting events. He especially enjoyed spending time with his great granddaughters. Ed is survived by his daughter Terri Lanckriet and her husband Kevin of Ft. Morgan, two sons Rick Weber and his wife Deann of Ft. Morgan, and Scot Weber and his wife Ronda of Berthoud, his grandchildren, Zach Evelyn of Brush, Lacee Evelyn of Milliken, Jordan Weber of Fort Worth, TX, Eric Rice of Maryville, TN, Lori (Rice) Boburchock of Berlin, Penn, and Travis Owen of Sterling: his great grandchildren Makehna Evelyn, Madison Evelyn, Trinity Weiss, Olivia Rice, Jake Rice, Emma Rice, and Charlie Rice. He was preceded in death by his wife Joanne, one son Robin Weber, a granddaughter Ashley Evelyn, one brother Henry Weber and his parents. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday 5 -8 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am at the Christ Congregational Church in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations in Ed's name to the American Heart Association in care of the Heer & Dahl Mortuary 225 E. Platte Ave. Ft. Morgan, CO, 80701.
