FRANCES "DOT" TAYLOR, 95, of Fort Morgan, formerly of Chattanooga, TN, died Sunday evening, March 4, 2007 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, CO. She was born Feb. 23, 1912 in Chattanooga, TN to Douglas & Etta (Bowen) Hall. On Sept. 15, 1934, she married Harold Taylor in Scottsboro, Alabama. Mr. & Mrs. Taylor lived in Chattanooga until 2003 when they moved to Fort Morgan to be close to their daughter. Mrs. Taylor was a Homemaker but did do volunteer work as a Gray Lady while in Indiana. She was also a substitute teacher. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Brainard Baptist Church in Chattanooga and the First Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed sewing and was a wonderful cook. Survivors include two daughters; Gwen Weaver of Indianapolis, IN and Pam Albrandt of Fort Morgan; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Taylor; her parents; two daughters, Barbara Frazer and Beverly White; one brother, D.L. Hall Jr.; and two sisters, Marjorie Locke and Gwen Wyatt. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 4 – 6 PM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 8th at 10:30 AM, also the chapel. Memorial gifts may be made to the First Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
