Frank Marlen Bourquin, Jr., 72, lifelong Fort Morgan resident, died Monday, October 18, 2021 at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.

Frank was born March 3, 1949 to Frank Sr. & Eunice (Elkerton) Bourquin. He attended Fort Morgan schools until he enlisted in the Army in 1967. On November 7, 1969, he married Dorothy Reed in Fort Morgan. They raised their family in the area and Frank worked for the City of Fort Morgan for a short time. He later worked in the oilfield for J.W. Gibson Well Service before his 30-year career as a heavy equipment operator for Morgan County before his retirement.

Frank was a member of First Christian Church in Fort Morgan. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. Frank especially enjoyed time spent with his family.

He is survived by his children, Nicki Dodson and Dylan Bourquin; two sisters, Jayne (Wayne) Larsen and Ann Covelli; two brothers, Rusty (Elsa) Bourquin and Don Bourquin; his grandchildren, Brianna (Dom) Hastings, and Tyler Dodson; seven great grandchildren and his dear friend and companion, Rosemary Brown.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Eunice Bourquin and his wife, Dorothy Bourquin.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26 ^th from 5 – 7 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 27 ^th at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church, 225 W. Bijou Ave. in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
