FRANK LEROY HUNT, 80, of Brush, died early Tuesday morning, Oct. 10th at his home. He was born Oct. 25, 1925 in Englewood, CO to Frank C. and Viola (Wetzbarger) Hunt. Mr. Hunt lived in Morgan County for the majority of his life. He was a welder and also drove a semi-truck for most of his working life. He was a member of the VFW Post 3551. He enjoyed going to auctions, watching television, and going for drives in the countryside. Mr. Hunt was also an avid reader and he had a love for animals. Survivors include his wife Mildred Teter, and two step-sons, Dennis Teter and Russell Teter, all of Brush, his sister, Maxine Calvert of Colorado Springs, and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth (Taylor) Hunt; 5 sisters; Marie, Lola, Iona, Opal, and Joan, and two brothers, Floyd and Glenn. A graveside memorial service will be Thursday at 10:00 AM in Brush Memorial Cemetery. There has been cremation. Military honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 3551, Brush. Friends who wish may make memorials in Mr. Hunt's name in care of the Heer Mortuary, 222 Cameron Street, Brush, CO 80723. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory in Brush is in charge of the arrangements.
