Frederick Donald Schick, 40, lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at his home, with his family by his side. Fred was born January 2, 1974 to Donald and Marjorie (Farner) Schick. He married Karen K. Zion on May 13, 2006 at the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan. In his free time Fred enjoyed going fishing, camping and his guns. His first love, however, was his farm and farming. He is survived by wife Karen, his father, Donald, his sister Corrie and his niece, Madison. Fred was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie who died in 2003. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2:00 pm at their home south of Fort Morgan. The family has asked that you bring stories to share about Fred and that you dress casually. Memorial gifts may be made in Fred's name to the American Cancer Society at 2255 S.
