GARY ROBERT ZWETZIG, 59, Lifelong Fort Morgan resident, died early Friday morning, Nov. 17, 2006 at his home. He was born February 4, 1947 in Fort Morgan to Robert & Bernice (Pabst) Zwetzig. He married Kathy Boatman on September 10, 1966 in Fort Morgan. Mr. Zwetzig was a meat cutter for Johnson Super Foods, Greenacres, And Big T's Grocery for a number of years. He was also a City Policeman for the City of Fort Morgan for 81/2 years, he sold insurance for Prudential and Farm Bureau, did appraisals for nearly 12 years on his own, and most recently was an Appraiser for Morgan County until ill health forced his retirement. Zwetzig was a member of The Sanctuary in Fort Morgan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He also took great interest in motorcycles and classic cars and he loved to remodel homes. He is survived by his wife Kathy Zwetzig of Fort Morgan; his daughter, Melinda Petty of Lakewood, CO; his son, Jonathan Gary Zwetzig of Japan; his mother, Bernice Zwetzig of Fort Morgan; his sister, Karen Behm of Tempe, AZ, and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Dawn Michelle Zwetzig; his father, Robert Zwetzig; and his brother, Keith Zwetzig. A memorial service will be Monday, Nov. 20, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Sanctuary Downtown Campus, 330 State St., Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church. There has been cremation. Friends may make memorials in Zwetzig's name in care of the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
