Gaylen R. Bostron, 54, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. He was born August 2, 1957, in Brush to Reinhold and Louise Bostron. Gaylen graduated from Brush High School in 1975, where he had an outstanding athletic career in wrestling and football. He later graduated from Mesa State College in Grand Junction. On July 23, 1994, he married Lori J. Miller in Brush. Gaylen and Lori moved back to Brush a couple of years ago. He enjoyed reading, day trading, listening to music and was an avid sports fan, especially enjoyed the Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed working with farm animals. Survivors include his wife, Lori of Brush; his daughter, Sarah of Seattle, WA; his father, Reinhold Bostron of Brush, 2 sisters, Lynne' Teter of Fort Morgan, CO and Gwen Bell of Fort Collins; and 1 granddaughter, Brooklyn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise, and his sister, Rhonda. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 19, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Congregational Church in Brush. The service will conclude at the church.
