GENEVIEVE ROSE RODMAN, 89, longtime area resident, died Friday, November 1, 2013 at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. She was born in Venango, NE on January 2, 1924 to Francis Michael & Sophia Victoria (Wetovick) Boro. During WW II Genevieve traveled the word performing in USO Shows. She married Donald Rodman on February 17, 1946 and began her life as a wife, mother, and homemaker. Genevieve enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking. Survivors include her nine children, Karen Montgomery of Lakewood, Chad Rodman of Windsor, Sherry Rodman, Donald Rodman Jr. of Brighton, Sonya Craney of Aurora, Vance Rodman of Thornton, Debra Deru of Lakewood, and Tamara Rodman and Teresa Rodman, both of Log Lane, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 13 siblings. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 7th at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow at 2:30PM in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver (Stage B).
