George Stanley Hardy, 88, passed away in Brush, Colorado February 13, 2023. He was born June 7, 1934, in Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph and Irma Hardy.

George moved with his family to Brush when he was 11 years old. He served in the Air Force in Gila Bend, Arizona as a military police officer. George married the love of his life, Carylin, August 9, 1958.  He worked for many years as a welder, fabricator and ergonomics designer.

George is survived by his wife Carylin; their three boys, Brian, Rod and Corey (Mandy); 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He  was preceded by his parents; his siblings, Fred Hardy, Francis Grosshans and Kenneth Hardy;  and one great-grandson.

A Memorial Service will be held  Monday, February 27, 2023 at Platte Valley Baptist Church at 10:30 AM, followed by inurnment at Brush Memorial Cemetery.
