GEORGE ALVIN LAW, 79, lifelong area resident, died early Monday morning, January 5, 2009 at his home in Log Lane Village. He was born June 21, 1929 in Brush to Jesse & Gladys (Winchel) Law. He worked as a mechanic for the majority of his life. He enjoyed woodworking and cars. Law is survived by his daughter, Kendreth Clay and his son, George I. Law, both of Thornton; his sister, Maryjane Harvey of Forest Grove, OR; his brother, Fred Law of Akron; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Doris; two brother, Clifford Law and Dale Law; and two sons, Lorne Law and Robert Law. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13th from 9 AM until 1 PM, with funeral services following at 1:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory in Brush is in charge of arrangements.
