George A. Paugh, 72, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015, at his home. He was born April 18, 1943, in Pierce, WV, to Foster & Beulah Devora Paugh.

George entered the US Air Force in 1963, and retired in 1984 as a Master Sergeant. On August 6, 1972, he married Mary Leis in Denver. They lived in Denver area for several years until moving to Brush a few years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of Brush; 5 sisters, Naoma Slaubaugh, Alina Sobota, Emma Shupp all of Baltimore, MD, Priscilla Jones and Charmaine Pritts both of Elk Garden, WV; 3 brothers, Robert Paugh of Baltimore, MD, Roger Paul of Keyser, WV, and Lewis Paugh of Harman, WV. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, and his parents.

At George's request, no service will be held.   Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the cremation arrangements. Private inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
