Jerry Wolford, 94, passed away on June 24, 2024.

Jerry was born to William and Nellie Wolford in Benkelman, NE on March 28, 1930. They moved to Fort Morgan when he was a young boy. He attended schools in Fort Morgan and graduated from Fort Morgan High School and then joined the Army in 1951, serving in Korea as a Sergeant.

Jerry married Audrey Thompson and after her death in 2000, he married Bette (Barrickman) Dunning. She passed away in 2021.

Jerry served the community as a police officer for several years before making a career as a postal worker, which he did until his retirement in 1990. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents and both wives.

He is survived by his stepchildren, step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The rendering of Military Funeral Honors will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan on Monday, July 1st at 10:00 AM.
