Ginger Rose Allsman, 69, lifelong resident of Brush, CO passed away Friday, November 22nd, 2019 at Medical Center of the Rockies, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born July 21st, 1950 to Rowland and Lola Allsman as the youngest of 8 children.

Ginger became a mother to her only child at the age of 17. This was her greatest accomplishment. She worked at Nabisco for 23 years, where she retired in 2002. In 2003, she moved to Brush from CA to be with her daughter and her family. When she got to CO she could not sit still and stay retired. Ginger got her CDL and drove school buses for Brush School District. She then worked in transportation for Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center and then received her CNA and continued to work there on the Sommerlyst neighborhood. Even after working at a couple other surrounding nursing homes, her heart was always at Eben Ezer, where she worked until her illness prevented her to do so in 2017.

Ginger enjoyed working on her yard(driving her John Deere lawn mower), swimming in her pool, and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her world, but she was over the moon to become a great grandmother. She had such a love for her animals and her fur grandbabies.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Rowland and Lola Allsman, her sisters Joan Satterfield and Shirley Pineiro, her brothers Ed, Jay, and Doyle Satterfield.

Ginger is survived by her daughter Kathy(Michael) Gutierrez; grandchildren Vanessa(JJ) Pursley, Cherisse(Fernando) Carrillo, Mikey Gutierrez(Kendall Hemphill), Mia Gutierrez and great granddaughter Norah Pursley. Her sisters Doris Ritch and Roberta Davis and multiple nieces and nephews as well as her dog Princess.

Memorial service will be Friday, December 6, 2019 at 10:00 AM at All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben Ezer.
