Virginia "Gini" S. Black, 60, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012, at the Sunset Manor Care Center in Brush following a lengthy illness. She was born February 2, 1952, in Denver, CO, to Dale & Noreace Kaschke. Prior to ill health forcing her retirement, Gini worked as an underwriter in the financial lending business. She moved to Brush from Littleton about 3 years ago. Gini was a member of the Valley View Christian Church in Littleton, CO and the Fagowees Social Club. She loved to sing, singing with recorded music and with choral groups. She also enjoyed outdoor sports, including snow skiing and spending time with her pets. Survivors include her parents, Dale & Noreace Kaschke of Centennial, CO; 3 sisters, Diane Thompson of West Palm Beach, FL, Pat Caughlan of Fort Morgan, CO, and Shirley Lowe of Littleton, CO; 6 special nieces and their children, Sandy Caughlan and Rylee, Katherine Benfield and Elizabeth, Carolynn Fallon, Chrystal Shannon, Diedre Keighin and Julian, and Joslyn Lowe and Lynn Gunnels. She was preceded in death by 1 niece, Leslie Gunnels. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 2:30 PM at the Valley View Christian Church, 11004 Wildfield Lane in Littleton, CO.
