GLADYS RUTH KRAMER, 79, longtime Fort Morgan resident, died Monday evening, Aug. 25, 2008 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. She was born Aug. 30, 1928 in Norton County, KS to Ronald & Pearl (Picraux) Traxler. Mrs. Kramer has lived in Fort Morgan for over 50 years. She was a member of the Morgan Church of The Nazarene. She enjoyed handwork, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and cooking. In her younger years she was a skilled cake decorator. Mrs. Kramer is survived by her five children; Vanita McIlvanie, Carlita Rana, and Nelda Simons, all of Fort Morgan; Rickey Osburn of Sterling, and Ron Osburn of Casper, WY; two sisters, Ruby Foutz of Republican City, NE, and Betty Oakley of Farmington, NM; three brothers, Bill Traxler of Akron, Varlen Traxler of Springdale, Ar, and Norman Traxler of Elkhorn, AR; 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Steve Traxler; her first husband, Jimmy Osburn; and her second husband, Gale Kramer. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 29th from 5 – 7 PM at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, Aug. 30th at the Morgan Church of The Nazarene. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery south of Akron. Memorial gifts may be made to the Morgan Church of The Nazarene. The Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
