Glen Duane Springer, 88, of Brush passed away peacefully Sunday, March 5, 2017, at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, CO.  Glen was born March 15, 1928 in Elkhart, KS to W.C. and Bessie Springer.

On September 15, 1950 he married Angelina Andreatta in Walsenburg, CO.  He was in the Army Air Corps, where he got to train pilots how to navigate planes.  He was a member of American Legion and Knights of Columbus.  Glen worked numerous jobs over the years including herding sheep, machine shop, rancher, along with many others, and even owning his own business in Texas.   He enjoyed dancing and hunting.  Glen loved family time most of all, anytime with the grandchildren and great grandchildren was cherished.

Glen is survived by his wife Angelina; two daughters Janet Wilson and Sharon Quick; two sons Dennis Springer and Justin Springer; two sisters Edna Jolly and Elva Springer; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Loren Springer, two grandsons Scott Springer and Steven Springer, five brothers Percy, Wilbur, Kenneth, Charles, and Harvey Springer, one sister Elsie Carpenter, and his parents.

Rosary and Vigil Services will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10:00AM at the All Saints Lutheran Church in Brush.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, March 10, 2017 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Trinidad, CO.  Interment with Military Honors will be at the Trinidad Masonic Cemetery in Trinidad, CO.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his grandson's go fund me account at https://www.gofundme.com/we-need-help-for-rare-surgery .
