Glenn Bemis, 73, passed away at his home near Snyder, CO, on Saturday, December 26, 2015. He was born December 22, 1942, in Oak Creek, CO, to Wilbur & Stella Bemis.

Glenn served in the US Army during the Viet Nam conflict. Following his discharge he worked as a millwright. Glenn came to Morgan County during the initial construction of the Pawnee Power Plant. He continued living in Morgan County with anticipation that Pawnee II would start up and he would continue working on that job site.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Kenneth Bemis of Sterling, CO and Nathan Bemis of Kalispell, MT; 1 niece, Connie Ecker; and 6 nephews, Matt Ecker, Craig Ecker, Billy Jo Bemis, Lee Bemis, John Bemis, and Joel Bemis. He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Geraldine Ecker, 1 brother, Gary Bemis, and his parents.

At Glenn's request, no service will be held.   Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
