Obituary

Glenn Earl Howard, 85, Brush resident, went to be with His Lord on New Year's Day at 7:42 PM, due to pneumonia, though he had many co-morbidities.

Glenn was born on December 29, 1936 in Billings, Montana to Glen & Beulah (Farr) Howard. Glenn found his faith in the Lord in 1980, after that he was a member in several Nazarene churches, serving in various ministries. He had currently been serving in good standing as a member with the Brush Church of the Nazarene and was a board member for 9 years. Glenn held down several jobs throughout his life, including meat counter at Safeway, billboard hanger for 3M National, followed by real estate sales, and operations manager when he retired from 3M in Denver. Glenn was also a farmer briefly and he retired from VanPac Carriers as dispatcher.

Glenn enjoyed gardening, home renovations, and watching his Denver Broncos. He was fond of saying that the joy of his life was the years he got to babysit his baby grandchild, Caleb from birth until pre-school. The two of them had a very special bond until the day he went home.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Sandy Howard as well as his seven children, Robert Howard, Cindy Beausoliel, Rebecca Haehn, David Howard, Greg Howard, Brendon Howard, Greg Boettcher; his ten grandchildren, Sarah Beausoliel, Hannah Morrison, Matt Howard, Suzanne Howard, Brittney Rocha, Cody Spencer, Kristie Rude, Dillon Howard, Derek Howard, Alicia Howard, Jaron Howard, Rylan Howard, Katie Boettcher, Maci Howard, and Caleb Boettcher. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and some great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, Glen and Beulah Howard; his siblings and their spouses, Bill & Bernice Howard, and Jon & Betty Chyle.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 29 , 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Brush Church of the Nazarene in Brush, 26150 US Hwy 34. There will be a private inurnment on another date.
