Gloria Mavis McLaughlin, 79, died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born November 27, 1934 in Williston, North Dakota to John and Mary Ann (Hammer) Pankowski. Gloria married Eugene Paul on March 3, 1956 in Montana. She moved to this area in September of 1977 from Williston, ND. Gloria was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, cooking, tending to her flowers, she really liked sweet peas, and sitting outside on her porch swing. Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her three daughters, Gloria Jean McLaughlin-Steele (Keith), of Burns, Wyoming, Gayle Bath (Steve), of Ft. Morgan, and Dakota L. Luark (Michael A.) of Snyder, two brothers, two sisters, grandchildren, Justin McLaughlin, Ivy Beckman, Ashley Bolejack, David Steele, Crystal Ford, Lakota Luark, and Khoury Luark, great grandchildren, Haley, Jaycee, Austin, and Haylene. She was preceded in death by one son, Earl Eugene McLaughlin, two brothers, two sisters, and her parents. Graveside Memorial Services will be Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Brush Memorial Cemetery Columbarium.
