Obituary

Gloria M. Miller, 83, of Fort Morgan, died Saturday morning, July 22, 2017 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.

She was born in Wiggins on September 19, 1933 to F. Aaron & Laura Frei. Gloria graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1951. She married Raymond Miller on June 8, 1955 in Greeley. Gloria worked at an insurance agency and an automobile dealership before working as a Bookkeeper for Kula Grain in Fort Morgan. Later, she worked at Miller's Flower Shop in Fort Morgan until her retirement.

Gloria was a member of the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan, the Platte Avenue Club, and she was a past Boy Scout leader. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, and she especially liked doing different types of crafts and giving them to her friends. She loved plants and flowers and liked watching them grow. Gloria will be remembered by her family as a simple, loving person.

Gloria is survived by her daughter-in-law, Catherine Miller of Lakewood; her granddaughters, Alyssa Frisbie and husband, Kyle of Lakewood, and Lauren Miller of Broomfield. She is also survived by her sister, Doris Blubaugh of Greeley.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton Frei and Darwin Frei; her sister, Darlene Whisler; her two sons, Rodney Miller and Roger Miller; and her husband, Ray Miller.

A memorial service will be Monday, July 31st at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church. Private Inurnment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church.
