Grace Nielsen, 91, passed away on January 21, 2011 in Brush, CO, where she lived with her daughter, Grace Jones. She was born on February 14, 1919, the daughter of Elizabeth and John Walker, in Staten Island, NY and was one of nine children. Grace married Vincent Reagan and they had eight children together. She worked at Willowbrook State School for approximately twenty five years. After retiring, she moved to San Diego, CA, where she met and married Svend Nielsen. They enjoyed traveling and getting involved in senior center activities. After Svend's death in 1993, Grace stayed in San Diego for another ten years. She decided to move to Brush to be closer to other family members. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos. She is survived by her children, Ronald and Lenore Reagan of Freehold, NJ, Grace Jones of Brush, CO, daughter-in-law Eileen Reagan of Fort Morgan, CO, SueAnn and Les Comeau of Oak Hill, FL, Lawrence and Chris Reagan of Green Bay, WI, Donald and partner Pat of Long Pond, PA, and Vincent and Marie Reagan of Fuquay Varina, NC. She is preceded in death by sons Robert Reagan, Modesto, CA and Thomas Reagan of Fort Morgan, CO. Grace enjoyed being the grandmother to twenty three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Her surviving siblings are Margaret Reagan of Fort Morgan, CO and Elizabeth McGovern of Freehold, NJ. She is preceded in death by three brothers; John, Edward and Kenneth Walker and three sisters; Mary Roslund, Dorothy Vitale and Joan Torre. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush for her family and close friends.
