Obituary

Hallie Mae Aguirre, 31, of Fort Morgan, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, from injuries she sustained when she and her family were in an auto accident.

Hallie was born on August 14, 1993, in Fort Morgan to Vanessa Carrillo and Hubert Montoya. She attended area schools and graduated from Fort Morgan High School with the class of 2011. She married Isai Aguirre on February 24, 2014.

Hallie currently worked in the HR Department at Cargill. Before that, she was a Bookkeeper at Safeway in Fort Morgan, and she had also previously worked as a Teller at Bank of Colorado.

Hallie was a talented young woman with a knack for all things artsy and crafty. She enjoyed garage saling, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She was a beautiful soul full of life, contagious with her smile, laughter, and jokes, she would light up a room whenever she walked in. Hallie's greatest joy though, was her husband and children and the finer things in life like sitting on the back porch with Isai watching the rain or the birds. She is so deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband Isai Aguirre and their children, Esai, Moises, Kamila, and Alaia, all of Fort Morgan; her mother, Vanessa Carrillo (Johnny) of Log Lane; her father, Hubert "Beto" (Ana) Montoya of Greeley; her sister, Anastacia Carrillo (Anthony Torres); and her brother, Josiah Carrillo, all of Fort Morgan. She is also survived by her grandmother, Rosa Cano (Jesus Avitia) of Juarez, Mexico; her grandfather, Rick Martinez (Lilia) of Fort Morgan, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Isaac Montoya and her grandmother, Carolyn Martinez.
