HAROLD LEROY REED, 86, longtime Fort Morgan resident, died early Friday morning, June 15, 2007 at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. He was born February 7, 1921 to Rollie & Alice Reed. He married Wilyodean McGee on May 3, 1948 in Fort Morgan. Mr. Reed was a life member of the VFW Post 2551, Fort Morgan. He enjoyed farming, which he did for the majority of his life. Reed is survived by his wife Wilyodean Reed of Fort Morgan; one daughter, Mary Alice Samora of Sandpoint, Idaho; two sons, Donald Ray Reed and John Leroy Reed, both of Fort Morgan; four brothers, Lester Reed of Nebraska, Ray Reed of New Raymer, Roy Reed of Bellingham, WA, and Vaughn Reed of Wyoming; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bert Reed, Richard Reed, Dean Reed, and Marion Reed; two sisters, Laveta Northrup, and Ora Lee Reed; and his daughter, Dorothy Jean Bourquin. Visitation will be Monday, June 18, 2007 from 2 – 6 PM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 10:30AM, also at the chapel. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. Memorials may be made in Mr. Reed's name in care of the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701
