HAROLD E. TAYLOR, 93, of Weldona, died early Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. He was born November 13, 1917 in Ellis County, OK to Frank & Edith (Kerr) Taylor. He married Winifred Wilkens in Denver, CO on April 3, 1943. Mr. Taylor farmed in the Weldona area and ran Taylor's Vegetable Market there for several years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Mr. Taylor was a member of the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Winifred Taylor; and his daughter, Mary Linton-Brooks, both of Weldona; his sister, Eloise Prewett of Vinita, OK; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Doris Brueggeman; and his son, Larry Taylor. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 20th at the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan.
