Harold Weimer, 92, entered eternal rest at his home on April 8, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Fort Morgan on March 10, 1927, to Henry & Amelia Weimer Sr.

A lifelong resident of Morgan County, Harold married Gaynelle Zittle in 1950.  She passed away in 1998.  On July 31, 2000, Harold married Patricia Rucker on the family farm.

Harold was an honorably discharged US Army veteran.  He belonged to the Arabian Horse Association.  He was a lifetime farmer and raised Arabian Horses.  He always had a great joke to tell and loved to play pool at the Fort Morgan Senior Center.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; 3 daughters, Lauri (Charles) Klausner of Roggen,CO; Kalyn (Cliff) Miller of Neosho, MO; and Janna (Ross) Combs of Fort Morgan; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by  2 sisters, Emma & Leona; 4 brothers, Hank, Ed, Dave, & Carl; and his parents, Henry & Mollie Weimer.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan.  Military Honors and inurnment will be at Serenity Falls Columbarium.
