Harry Roy Temple, 84, lifelong area resident, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.

He was born April 11, 1934 in Fort Morgan to Rieny and Molly (Weimer) Temple.

Harry married Bonnie Wise on November 15, 1959 in the Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan.

He attended school in Fort Morgan up until the 11th grade when he quit to work on the his dad's farm.

Harry served his country in the United States Army and after his Honorable Discharge he continued farming for most of his life until he retired.

Harry enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the races at the local speedway, and taking long drives in the country.

Harry is survived by his wife Bonnie of Fort Morgan, two daughters, Debbie Smith (Jeff) of Log Lane, and Linda Temple Helzer of Fort Morgan, two sisters, Elma Schocke (Darrell) of Log Lane, and Evelyn Loose of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Harry was preceded in death by three brothers, Ruben, Robert, and Harold Temple, one sister, Irene Martin, and his parents.

There will be a visitation Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5:00 until 6:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan.

Funeral Services will be Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the mortuary.

Memorial Gifts may be given in Harry's name in care of the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan.
