Helen F. Henson, 100, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born January 13, 1917, in Weld County, CO, to Malcolm & Arvilla (Furby) Suttle.

Helen has lived most of her life in Morgan County. In 1934 she married Wayne Henson in Fort Morgan. He passed away in 1983. Helen worked as a waitress & cook in several restaurants in the area.

Helen loved to dance and play slot machines.

Survivors include several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; 3 brothers, Everett, Maurice & Clarence; 5 sisters, Ora, Mildred, Ethel, Lula & Dorothy; and her parents.

A graveside service and interment will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. The Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
