Helen I. Kingsley, 91, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born July 25, 1920, in Ozawkie, KS, to George & Bertha Weisdorfer. Helen married William Kingsley in Kiowa County, CO on October 26, 1939. In 1971 the Kingsley's moved to Morgan County, living near Wiggins. Helen enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing, and helping her husband raise their registered quarter horses, cattle and dogs. Spending time with her family was very important to her. Survivors include her 4 sons, Louis of Idaho Springs, William Ray of Denver, Monty of Brush and Casey of Longmont; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great – great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers, Lawrence & Ray, 2 sisters, Mary Yost, Melba Schrader, and her parents. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Summit Baptist Church in Wiggins. The service will conclude at the church. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Summit Baptist Church in Wiggins.
