Helen Rose Serna, 76, of Fort Morgan passed away peacefully Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan, CO.  She was born October 5, 1941 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to her mother, Josephita Lucero.

Helen married the love of her life, Jose on March 26, 1977 in Ordway, CO .  She enjoyed bingo, and cheering on the Bronco's. She had a deep passion for her religious beliefs. Helen loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jose; son, Tony (Sherry) Romero; three daughters, Ginger (Julio) Rivera, Marti Lopez-Serna, and Nina (Omar) Faudoa, 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, two brothers and two sisters.

Recitation of The Holy Rosary will be Thursday, June 7th at 7:00 PM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM Friday, June 8th, also at Saint Mary's. Inurnment will follow at 2:00PM Friday at Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan.
