Helen Louise Wulf, 92 lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Fort Morgan. Helen was born July 25, 1915 in Downs, Kansas to William and Ruby (Smith) Warehime. She married Floyd Albert Wulf on September 18, 1929 in Sterling, Colorado. He died in 1996. Helen attended church with her granddaughter when she visited her in Oregon. They called that church the "Little Church in the Wildwood" because of its location and small congregation. Helen was an avid bowler and even when she and her husband were milking 40 to 60 cows twice a day, she still bowled 3 times a week in leagues. Helen is survived by two daughters, Genise Sharp of Ft. Morgan and Ellen Eastwood of Limon, three sisters, Dolly Paul of Tennessee, Mary Garrett of Brush and Betty Morgenson of Greeley, fourteen grandchildren including Linda Torrez of St. Helens, Oregon and Floyd A. Schwartz of Ft. Morgan, eighteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband floyd, who died in 1996, two sons, Charles and Albert Wulf, one daughter, Joyce Wulf, and ten brothers and sisters.Vistation will be Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 2 until 5 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 9, 2008 at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Ft. Morgan. The Heer Mortuary and Crematory in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
