Obituary

HENRY H. REICHERT, 98, longtime area farmer, died early Monday morning, July 30, 2007 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. He was born in Dittle, Russia on Oct. 30, 1908 to Fred & Elizabeth (Reich) Reichert. The family came to the United States from Russia in 1912, settling in the Greeley area. Henry married Mary Long on Sept. 4, 1927 in Windsor. The family moved to Fort Morgan from Greeley in 1961. Reichert was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Church in Fort Morgan. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He is survived by his two sons, Clyde Reichert & his wife Helen and Darrell Reichert, all of Fort Morgan; three sisters, Mary Roth, Rita Reichert, and Elsa Reichert, all of Greeley; three granddaughters, Lynn Pickering & her husband Gary of Fort Morgan, Dee Duke & her husband Gary of Strasberg, CO, and Kim Pabst & her husband Brian of Hillrose, CO. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Reichert was preceded in death by his wife Mary, their infant son Wesley Dean Reichert; 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 2nd from 5-8 PM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 3rd at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Evangelical Church, 318 West 7th Ave., Fort Morgan. Interment services will follow at 2:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 West 28th Street, Greeley. Friends may make memorial gifts to Immanuel Evangelical Church. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
