Obituary

Henry W. Ring, 77, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at the Juniper Village Spearly Center in Denver following a lengthy illness.  He was born April 1, 1943, in Fort Collins, CO to Rinault & Caroline Ring.  When Henry was a baby, his father died.  Caroline married Chuck Voiles and they raised Caroline's boy together.

Henry graduated from Brush High School in 1962.  He served in active duty with the US Marine Corp from 1962 until his honorable discharge in 1966, and he continued with the US Marine Reserves until 1968.  On August 17, 1967, Henry married Connie Wheeler in Brush.

Henry worked at Sigman Meat Company until they closed and then began a career as a heavy equipment operator for Morgan County, working at the land fill for about 30 years.  He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, AARP, and the American Legion Sagebrush Post.

Survivors include his wife, Connie of Brush; 2 children, Robby of Brush and Shawna Whitman of Fort Morgan; 1 brother, Rinault of Fallon, NV; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Rinault, and his Mother & Step-Father, Caroline & Chuck Voiles.

At Henry's request no formal service will be held.  A visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel on Monday, August 31 from 11 – 12:30.  Military honors by the US Marine Corp Honor Guard will be at the Brush Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
