HERMAN FRANCIS KELLER, 76, of Fort Morgan, died Friday morning, July 30, 2010 at his home. He was born in Fort Morgan on January 4, 1934 to Ernest & Katherine (Lake) Keller. He attended schools in Fort Morgan and graduated and then served in the U.S. Marines. He married Josephine Luna on March 2, 1963. Mr. Keller drove truck for the majority of his working years. He was a member of Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. He enjoyed collecting models and coins and building things. He also enjoyed traveling and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Josie Keller of Fort Morgan; his daughter, Karen Peters of Phoenix, AZ; and his son, Martin Keller of Chula Vista, CA; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Margaret Friedrick; his brother, Robert Keller; and his son, Shawn Keller. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 4th from 4 – 7 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 5th at 10:30 AM, also at the chapel. Interment with military honors will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society or to Hospice of The Plains in care of Heer & Dahl Mortuary, 225 E.
