Holly Noelle McGuire, 21, passed away at her home in Brush on Tuesday. Holly was born November 25, 1984, in Denver, CO. The McGuire family moved to Woodrow in 1986 where they lived until moving to Lindon in 1993. Holly was a graduate of the Woodlin High School class of of 2003. She attended both Colorado State University and Morgan Community College. Holly moved to Brush in 2006, where she lived until the time of her death. She excelled in science and English, enjoyed reading, and aspired to become a forensic scientist after finishing school. Survivors include her biological father & mother, Robert Gent of Aurora, CO and Leslie Gregg of Denver; her father, Carl S. McGuire Jr. of Corvallis, OR; her brothers, Carl S. McGuire III of Akron, CO, Gil MacGregor of Hillsboro, OR, and Chester Gregg of Falcon, MO; and her sisters, Wendy Gregg of Madison, WI, Erin McGuire of Blue MOunds, WI and Heather McGuire of Fort Collins. Holly was preceded in death by her mother, Robert McGuire, who died in a traffic accident in July, 2006. A priviate family memorial service was held Sunday, October 29, 2006, in Akron, CO.
